The Palestinian cause in a nutshell

A Palestinian rioter accidentally set himself on fire after attempting to throw a Molotov cocktail at IDF soldiers during clashes in Hebron Tuesday afternoon. This is the perfect analogy to what has been happening with the Palestinian people. Their leadership over and over again has led their people to self-destruct and self-injure themselves. They need to learn violence is self-defeating. Winning the moral high ground is crucial to ending the occupation. What has been gained from violence? Recent attacks against Jews using knives highlights an even more disturbing picture. The definition of insanity should be taking a knife to a gunfight. Or should be throwing rocks at tanks and F-16's? This is complete insanity for Palestinian leaders living in their comfortable villas to be inciting more attacks against the IDF or Israeli's. Hamas urging the people to resist - and the glorification of martyrdom has reached  a level of being a religion of death. It's a sick culture and reflects the deep trauma of loss and humiliation. Palestinians have yet to accept they lost and continue to lose in such battles against Israel. They refuse to accept it. They are in denial to accept the struggle of regaining territory is over.  The best they can do is hope to regain some dignity, some freedom, some mobility, some justice, some equality and some form of peaceful co-existence. The idea they can reconquer what has been lost is delusional. The idea they can all return to their homes pre 1948 is delusional. The idea they can defeat Israel or exact revenge on Israel or drive out the colonial Jews is delusional. They need to deal with the reality at hand as a defeated people. All the bluster and bravado serves only to bring more misery to their daily lives.
